What this engagement calculator measures

The calculator uses four figures you enter: follower count and recent average views, likes and comments. It calculates likes plus comments as a percentage of average views. If no view average is supplied, it uses followers as the denominator and labels the same output clearly.

This is a descriptive ratio, not a universal quality score. Niche, video format, audience size, paid activity, outliers and the period sampled can all change the result. Compare the account with its own earlier period before using a generic benchmark.

No profile is fetched or scraped. The figures stay in the browser while you use the page, and accuracy depends on the averages you enter. That makes the calculation dependable while keeping its limits visible.

How to analyse a TikTok profile

Keep denominator changes visible

A view-normalised rate and follower-normalised rate answer different questions. Do not compare them as if they were the same series.

Investigate a view-to-follow gap

A high entered view average beside slow follower change may justify checking profile visits, bio clarity and pinned posts. It does not prove one cause by itself.

Look beyond an average

Large differences between posts can make one mean misleading. Review the individual values and note unusual topics, formats or promotion before drawing a conclusion.
